This material presents the methodology for calculating terminal voltage in power transformers, considering transformer electrical characteristics, percentage impedance, tap positions, apparent power, power factor and loading conditions.
The methodology allows the determination of transformer terminal voltages under different operating conditions, making it possible to evaluate the influence of load, internal voltage drops and tap positions on system voltage levels.
The package consists of a technical PDF document containing the theoretical background, calculation equations and application examples, as well as an Excel spreadsheet developed to automate the calculations. The spreadsheet enables the analysis of different operating scenarios quickly and efficiently, supporting power system design, expansion, modernization and operation studies.
